A seminar was hosted by the Cancer Alliance and Cansa on Thursday October 6, 2022.


Titled Unpacking the Implications of Constitutional Guarantees on the Right to Health for Cancer Patients, it was facilitated by Sibongile Tshabalala, National Chairperson of the Treatment Action Campaign.


Panelists included Ouma Mamtela, a breast cancer survivor; Nersan Govender of the Legal Resources Centre; Dr Duvern Ramian, HOD Radiation Oncology, CMJAH; Khanyisa Mapipa of Section 27; and Pauline Knipe and Aisosa Jen Omoruyi of the Dullah Omar Institute.
